Retreat With Us

Cedar Crest isn't just a summer camp! We're a retreat center, too. We have lodging, facilities, and programming available in the spring and fall for any organization or community planning a retreat. Check out the opportunities Cedar Crest provides to ensure a transformative experience for everyone!

Lodging and Facilities

Cecil Lodge

Building with 2 stories and 8 bedrooms; sleeps 50 people. Each story has 2 wings with bedrooms and bathroom. There is a large kitchen, an upstairs common space that overlooks the lake and has access to a large back deck, and a downstairs common space that can accommodate a group as large as 60.

Eagle's Nest

Small building that can sleep 2-3 people at most; small kitchen, bathroom, lounging area and desk. Windows provide view to surrounding camp area. Small front porch and seating area. A quaint space for fulfilling rest and rejuvenation amongst creation, perfect for a personal Sabbath retreat.

Nickell Lodge

Building with 1 story and 8 bedrooms; sleeps 50 people. There are 2 wings; each wing includes 4 rooms with 4 bunks in each and a shared bathroom. There is a common space, a kitchen, a firepit, and a back deck overlooking the lake. 

Songbird Cabin

Cabin with a porch and breezeway; sleeps 32-36 people. On each side of the breezeway, there are 2 rooms with a bathroom in each room, 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms total. Each room contains 4 bunks and 1-2 trundle beds. 

Owl Cabin

Cabin with a porch and breezeway; sleeps 32-36 people. On each side of the breezeway, there are 2 rooms with a bathroom in each room, 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms total. Each room contains 4 bunks and 1-2 trundle beds.

Dining Hall

Multipurpose space for as many as 200 people in chair layout, and space for 75-150 people with tables and chairs layout. The space can be divided in half with a wall separator. Has a patio, a deck, and a set of bathrooms.

Programming

Lake

Small lake surrounded by nature, complete with dock and storage shed; canoes, kayaks, Corcls, and fishing poles are available. Personal floatation devices are provided. Lake and boating sessions include instruction and supervision by Cedar Crest Lifeguards.

High Ropes

A fun, challenging High Ropes course for anyone 11 years and older. The course includes a rock wall Climbing Tower, Giants Ladder, Vertical Playpen, Quick Jump and Giants Swing. Harnesses and helmets are provided. Instruction and facilitation are provided by Cedar Crest Staff. 

A Low Ropes course is also available for use, which concentrates primarily on team-building activities that are much closer to the ground. All ages are permitted to participate.

Zipline

The newest addition to our programming opportunities! 300 yards (900 feet) long, two lines are available for an exhilarating ride across Cedar Crest's field. Helmets and harnesses are provided. Instruction and facilitation are provided by Cedar Crest Staff. 

Archery

A 3-target firing range canopied by trees and designed for a safe experience. Compound and simple bows are available for use. Great activity for all ages!

Outpost Camp

Hammock outside overnight as a rustic camping option.  Pavilion with picnic tables and a fire pit available next to hammocking stakes. There are 16 hammock spaces available with provided hammocks.
